With your support, AFNCI continues to provide the healthcare that children with cancer at Hospital 57357 deserve. And every Ramadan, we review with you the achievements of the past year, thanks to God, and then to your support and donations. Every year brings new achievements. Since last Ramadan in 2024, we have been able to achieve significant milestones in our journey to support the hospital. The association contributed to the expansion of the emergency department at 57357, which increased its capacity from 7 to 14 rooms, and has already been opened.

We also contributed to the development of the bone marrow transplant unit, which will be opened soon, where the number of rooms was increased from 9 to 27 rooms, to provide hope for recovery to a larger number of children. Following that, the association, with the support of all generous people, is preparing to begin developing the hospital’s intensive care unit, which serves critical cases of children with cancer at the hospital, as well as the immunotherapy department. Immunotherapy is considered one of the latest treatment methods that aim to enhance the immune system’s ability to fight cancer cells. These efforts are a new step towards providing the best levels of medical care according to the highest standards of quality and infection control for the children of 57357.

Additionally, through the donor affairs department, the Association provides safe blood by coordinating blood donation drives and providing suitable donors from various blood types to serve the children of 57357 and cancer patients. Throughout the year 2024, the association coordinated 118 blood donation drives in various factories, institutions, and companies from our charity partners, where 2,660 donors contributed to saving the lives of cancer patients and the children of 57357.
